Hi ya. So I decided to scan my friends page for awhile and found this interesting video. It’s a collaboration between Defconn and Super Junior’s Kim Hee Chul. It’s interesting in a sense that the MV shows something which is not likely seen in the Kpop music scene. You know amidst all those boy groups and girl groups there are these rap musicians as well. Kinda like Eminem. Haha.

Seems dark eh? I wonder what the song means. By the way, that F sign doesn’t seem like it’ll pass Korean television…? Just guessing since they are conservative, still. Korea has a long way to go when it comes to those things. Plus broadcasting stations like KBS are government controlled, right?

Therefore I conclude that Hee Chul-nim is not just a PRETTY face. ^-^
Now I must check on how our paper’s doing. Ja!

What came down last night was so epic. The 2010 MAMA turned out really well even though SM and Cube artists boycotted the event. But who cares when YG Family and JYP Nation are there? Congratulations to 2pm for winning 3 awards out of 5 nominations. Not bad really considering that I almost gave up on them winning. I thought it was going to be Super Junior who will dominate the MAMAs this year. Guess I was wrong! ^-^ No offense to SJ I’ve begun to like them somehow but 2pm deserves to win. It is definitely One Day’s year. Of course 2ne1 turned out to be the one to take home the most awards with four. 2ne1 nolja!

When it comes to stages 2ne1, 2pm and Big Bang killed it! But Big Bang killed it the most haha. 2ne1′s tribal concept was daebak as usual. Although they had a bit of mic trouble in the beginning. Hmm of course I couldn’t miss 2pm’s break-up performance. The clown concept was something. I like the arrangement they did to their songs. Oh and the end was very much memorable. Oh hell yeah~ Hahaha.

And then we have the incredible sunbaes Big Bang! ( minus Seungri and Daesung ). The best stage of the night. Swear. You can always count on these boys to give a stellar performance. Of course when it comes to Kpop, Big Bang was my first love (sigh) yeah and as the saying goes, first live never dies♥ This why I couldn’t miss the show.  Let me show some of the epicness that happened onstage.

I guess Wooyoung wasn’t too happy with SunDara moment there. Haha. Taeyang is smooth and fast so Wooyoung-ah you better get a move on! So the members of Big Bang are after Dara unni kkk. First there was TOP who has the most advantage. In that Gummy MV he kissed Dara on the lips. He even talked about a few NGs (no good takes) hahaha. Then there’s GD who had a collaboration with Dara for his single Hello. They promoted for awhile and during those times GD made this move the pretend kiss with Dara while covering it with his hat. Haha. And now we have Taeyang who sings  he “needs a girl” and that happens to be Dara. Last night he stole a kiss from Dara while he was performing and that kind of gives the idea that he is in for the competition. Lastly we have lonely boy Wooyoung (2pm) who from the start showed his love for 2ne1 specifically Dara noona XD He’s that guy who can only watch her from afar. Aw~ Want proof?

See? Did you see that? DID YOU SEE THAT?!?! O.o

Big Bang! Of course I can brag about them whenever wherever. I have a ton of respect for Big Bang. They are legends in Kpop. The best about YG Entertainment is that they take their time and really think about the music they are going to present. From the concept down to the style everything is well thought-of. Even though they are gone from the music scene most of the time when YG artists like Big Bang release something everything else in the Kpop scene becomes irrelevant. IRRELEVANT. And that really is how it should be done. To stay true to the music. Sometimes these songs that come out aren’t really that good. It seems like the company and the artist just wants to earn money. Once they build their popularity their music quality goes down. Like SNSD for example. They may be topping the charts with Hoot now but really Hoot? Seriously? They only sell because they’re SNSD. You take the music out and they’re not even dancing. They’re just POSING.

So this is what went down last night in Macau. Wish I was there. I WLL BE ONE OF THESE DAYS. I KNOW IT ^-^ Well before I forget Far East Movement was also present. Minus the real G6 girl. I am lovin this group~ HELL YEAH! \m/  Everyone partied like a G6 XD

According to the name generator that is my Korean name. But in reality it is really the embassy that assigns you a name for a country. Anyway whatever, I am happy with this one since Chanseul is close to Chansung ♥ and I like Park as a surname. I’m one of the Park sisters! yipeee ^-^

Has it been a month again? I’m trying not to go online everyday especially go on facebook. Yes, I have become a twitter monster but it’s only because it’s easier to stalk on twitter. And facebook has become really boring. But the story of how facebook started is amazing. Mark Zuckerberg rocks! and so does CFO Edurado Saverin \m/ By the way, The Social Network is awesome. Well there are some moments when you’re like what are they talking about? and then you realize, oh it’s computer language haha. It’s really cool though. At the end one thing’s for sure. Never mess with a nerd. Haha. Oh and that guy who played Eduardo Saverin (andrew garfield) is so handsome. I didn’t know he is actually the next Peter Parker. Exciting. I might actually love Spiderman this time. Lol. Yeah, I didn’t like Spiderman the same way I didn’t like LOTR ^-^ At that time Harry Potter was all the rage so… yeah. I haven’t seen the latest HP or Twilight either. Once you finish reading the book it doesn’t seem so interesting anymore. Books are way better ^-^

It’s the Mnet MAMA 2010 today! Of course I already know the results but it’s still worth watching. I looked forward to this more than the EMAs. My mission failed and 2pm lost to Super Junior for artist of the year, best male group and best dance performance by a male group. 2pm got the shilla asian wave award though. I want to go to Macau and watch it live so freakin baaad :l Everyone’s going to Macau. My english included because she has to present a paper at a conference. Isn’t that awesome??? And then there is also this student who nailed an internship at Russia. When I read it on the bulletin board I exclaimed “wow” out loud. And my friends were startled because they didn’t see the post. She’s so lucky I wish I can be her. Haha. Even if it’s on the other side of the globe I’d definitely go if I had the chance!

So the last piece of news for le post is this. We lost a puppy. Bear-chan died T.T RIP Bear-chan. He was such a cute and adorable puppy. It was hard to accept it. Especially since he was only 2 months old and we lost him. It was too early. I saw him struggle and give in. The vet was pumping his chest but his heart stopped and he was gone. It happened so fast. I got home and I was told that he was sick then we rushed to the vet and for a moment I thought everything was going to be fine. Then the vet said that he’s gone. His eyes were open but he was stiff. I really couldn’t believe it.
