Hello there!

After the holiday break, the past week and this coming week has been and will be hectic for me so I can’t really stay and post blogs all the time. It’s our midterm exams and on top of that a lot of reports to do. I have like two research papers to work on and a lot more papers blah blah. I’m not complaining though I admit it’s hard. But at least I have something to do which I think is worthy to spend time on.

I’ve been away from the net the past week and after finally being able to download and watch DIM SCENE TOUR 09, I decided check up on Gazette. Of course the tour finale was beyond stellar. Something expected from them XD Aside from that it was also very emotional. After having read an interview of Ruki from the past year (2010) I realize now that DIM really did contain a lot of songs which had feelings of betrayal and anger. This was due to some conflicts the band went through. I guess they released all these feelings through DIM hoping that after the album was finished all those things would be over and done with. I hope that is the case now. Because of this, I can’t help but think of reasons as to why they signed with Sony. It’s a huge deal and it’s a huge step for them towards a bigger music arena. (By that I mean they are stepping away from the indie scene on moving ahead) Even though they went major a few years ago, I still think that Gazette managed to keep a raw feel to them until now. It makes their music genuine and impressionable at the same time.

On a more distracting note, I found this video from an old live. Aoi and Uruha leaning on each other is nothing new to fans, right? It’s part of the whole fanservice thing of the band. But someone caught something distracting. Haha. Okay I can’t say any more XD Just see for yourself.

Well I’ve been watching Mary Stayed Out All Night recently. All day I just watch past episode and now it’s just down to the final 2.

So I decided to make a list of dramas I have seen and yet to see. I created a separate page for it. If you scroll down this blogsite and look at the bottom left you will find there “Pages” and under that is Drama-thon. That page contains a list of k/j-do  )

I won’t deny that I have a love for dramas especially Korean and Japanese dramas. Yes, most of them are cliches and I watch them for the sake of seeing my favorite stars on television, I still think that they are entertaining at most. As I walked into the restroom there was only a middle-aged woman standing inside. She looked irritable like an old maid even though I could tell that she was only middle-aged. I went on to find a clean cubicle but none of the cubicles were clean. Each looked really filthy. In that situation I would end up not doing my thing. I have this sort of obsessive compulsiveness when it comes to seats like a chair, toilet seat and such. It has to be clean and without any sort of stain or else I'd feel really uncomfortable and probably not sit at all. So with this thought in my head, I became slightly worried. But I had no other choice and so I entered one cubicle. I looked around and noticed how filthy and yellow each tile was and how black each gap was. Ugh. Then the toilet seat was so dirty in my head I imagined a thousand germs and whatnot crawling about. Who knows what disease I might catch if my skin touches the toilet seat. I was going to do my business when the middle-aged woman started talking loudly. She was saying non-sense and I became a little alarmed with the way she acted. I panicked. Screamed. The next thing I know I was calling for her from inside the cubicle. "Ahjumma, Ahjumma!!!" 

Then I woke up. It was all a dream. A nightmare, rather. Sigh.

The moment I opened my eyes, I started to panic again. My eyes felt droopy and wanting to go back to sleep but my brain says I couldn't because the nightmare would continue. I tried to fight my sleepiness and it took awhile. I felt a tinge of fear for I might not be able to wake up again and fight off the nightmare. You know, that feeling of your body becoming paralyzed and your mind is racing to what you should do. It was exactly that. Every time I have a dream like this, it's almost impossible to wake up. And each time I know that I am awake but unable to open my eyes. It's quite similar to drowning. You know you're going to die but you can't do anything about it.

The day was quite eventful. My aunt asked me to accompany her and do grocery shopping for Christmas eve. Instances like these are not as often as before so I couldn't let it pass by and let my laziness take over again. I couldn't think of anything to talk about as usual. Although the trip was completely silent. There was small talk here and there. In those awkward moments I imagined Eli puffing his cheeks. I saw him on this variety show yesterday and he was dating someone from a girl group and it was really awkward. So awkward that he resumed to puffing his cheeks. Haha. I did the same quite a few times. See, I was never good with conversation. There I was again thinking of saying this and that and ending up not saying anything because I held it back thinking it wouldn't be understood or it would be uninteresting :l But that's okay because inside my head almost a hundred conversations happen everyday. Here in my own little world :)

We to the department store and passed by the Converse area. I pointed out those leather sneakers I wanted which was in the men's section. Sadly, the smallest size doesn't fit me. My aunt was wondering why I wanted that Converse for men. Quite frankly, I think the designs for the men look better than the women's. But it's probably because of my taste. I dislike those which have so much color. Especially if I have to wear them. I can say I am a minimalist but black is really a versatile color. It's a pretty good investment :)

I went out today without my mobile phone or money. Luckily I didn't need it. It was good that I did something else today rather than just sit in front of the computer. Yet I have a lot of work to be done and so far I have done only one. I better start before I forget these things that I'm supposed to do. I must buy a planner as well.

Today I learned “Suki, suki” and “doki, doki” phrases lool. Nah~ I was reading the NeoGenesis interviews of The Gazette members and realized that Kai isn’t exactly who I thought he was. He left a whole new impression on me with just that short interview. I always thought he was the soft-hearted, nice guy but now I think he’s not that sympathetic haha. He gave off that cold vibe that Aoi gives off. But I think he is ultimately cool as a person. All 5 of them are  I also hope the same thing that Kai hopes for. That they continue on a band for as long as they could. I hope that they stay as a rock band like what Aoi said an become as influential as X Japan and LUNASEA. From here I will always give them all my support and look forward to watching them perform live someday. Until then I can only watch them from  my computer screen but that doesn’t hinder the feelings that they put in every song they ever make. Yes, when it comes to Gazette I have a flair for the dramatic O.O But i can’t help it. Their music is one of the turning points in my life, believe it or not. It all makes sense to me. It all relates to me in some way or the other. Somehow I find that creepy but I believe that whatever message they put in their songs all of that is genuine.

And I can say this forever.

I hope that they will enjoy making more Gaze music according to their want. I hope they don’t lose meaning in what they do together as a band. And yes they are getting older so I hope they take care of their health and live to become the exceptional band they truly are. ♥

Finally it’s vacation time! It’s Christmas season and everyone should feel happy and grateful ^-^ It is a time for celebration but most of all we shall not forget that Christmas is all about the birth of Jesus. It’s disappointing how it has become superficial over the years. Santa Claus has overshadowed the person we should be celebrating. Somehow it has lost it’s sincerity. Like the words ‘thank you’ or ‘i’m sorry’ which people say so easily just because it has become routine even though they don’t really mean it. You give gifts because you feel obligated yo do so. (This is Theology finally making sense to me  ) When you were young there was so much excitement whenever Christmas was nearing but as you grow old you become occupied with other things that you fail to appreciate this time of the year. That is what happened to me and probably to other people as well.

On Friday, Dec. 17 we (BESH) held our Christmas party at Ange’s crib  Cool crib by the way hee hee. Anyway I thought I wouldn’t attend things like these in college anymore but well that’s what went down last Friday  It was hella fun. It’s actually a first for me to join a pool party and I haven’t been able to swim in so long. It was only like 2-3 hours but that’s okay because no one wants to get sunburned and we couldn’t miss the last train on the way home. It was like a kiddie party haha. Some people are soo not ready to grow up huh?  Lol. It’s a good thing I didn’t put so much effort into wrapping my present. LRT rules states sealed packages must be unwrapped for checking :l Eh, what a killjoy. If I put and insect or something else in that package as a prank then it would have been ruined. CAn’t blame them though. Rules are rules and everyone’s safety must be assured.

Today 19th of December was GTOP’s comeback stage ^0^ Very refreshing and amusing stage. See for yourself.

Oooh and I saw 2pm debut on Music Japan on YT :l If NHK hasn’t changed schedules then Music Japan will air tonight at 11pm and it might be the same episode. I want to watch it on television too. I haven’t seen Music Japan for ages.
