Wassap?!? Hahaha ^0^ It’s only exactly two weeks left before Christmas. Does it feel like Christmas? I don’t know. As you get older other things come into play. That’s just how it is. When I was kid, I didn’t have priorities. I didn’t have burden myself with things. There was only play. I believed that Santa would come every Christmas eve and bring me my gift. But now there’s no more Santa because I’ve realized that things don’t just appear with just a wish. It’s not as simple as that and it never was. I am older now, an adult actually. Last Wednesday I saw the film The Nativity Story, and you know what? I discovered a lot of things I didn’t know and didn’t care to know before. I didn’t know that Mary and Joseph’s marriage was actually an arranged marriage and that Mary didn’t marry Joseph willingly. It was because of bride price that Mary ended up with Joseph. But then again Mary should consider herself lucky because Joseph for me is the ultimate ideal man. Yes, Joseph, Jesus’ surrogate father. I saw Glee this morning and the episode was about Christmas. There I noticed how much people have forgotten that this event should be more about Christ andnot Santa Claus. It appears that Santa is more of an icon than Jesus is. People have forgotten who they should be honoring for this event. How sad.

Yesterday Dec. 10, we celebrated Meggy’s birthday. Jodi also celebrated hers in the same week hehe. Anyway we ate at McDonald’s and had a little fun with the camera. This is a nice photo, isn’t it? It’s so…natural. Nyahaha ^^. We only have a week left in school before the Christmas break yipeee. Actually we planned a small party and swimming on the 17th so we’re all looking forward to that. We aren’t doing much in classes either. Just reaction papers here and there and a couple of quizzes. Next year is a much busier year I guess. We have prelims when we come back and TBS and then finals. Then in the summer we have to enroll for NSTP2 and go back to the rehab center we went to last time for project implementation. I plan on enrolling for level 2 in Nihongo in the summer as well. I hope I can. If I don’t maybe guitar lessons then? If I knew that MC was also offering music classes then I would’ve also enrolled in that. It was difficult to attend all of  my level 1 Nihongo classes because the schedules keep getting in conflict with my other activities. It was actually unwise of me to enroll. I thought there wouldn’t be any conflict but I guess I was wrong. Nonetheless I was able to study Nihongo. It’s been two months since our lessons ended. I actually miss my Nihongo teacher. Maybelle sensei, aitakute! She was really nice and I was amused by how she looked. She was looked very Japanese even though she wasn’t. I’ll try to follow her advice and watch as many anime or live action I can. Actually it really works. That’s why I know more Korean because I watch Korean shows  more than Japanese. Well duh, NHK doesn’t offer subtitles so I really don’t have much of a choice anyways. Studies, studies, studies it’s harder to get to the top now. Or even get somewhere close to the top. Papers are lifesavers in college. Now I realize that haha. I want to do better this semester because I have a goal. And I thought it best for me if I focus only on that goal. So now I’m trying not put my energy in things unnecessary. I’m trying eliminate things in my head to make room for the more relevant things. And so to do this, I have decided to avoid the internet world as much as I can. Of course I’ll still bog because I promised I would. And this helps in the elimination process, I think. For this week I’ve avoided being on social media sites, kpop related websites and whatnot. It’s best for me if I can see only what I’m supposed to be focused on. And right now, there’s only one thing I want, will and wish for the most. And I should be set only on that.

I’ve finally decided to get this type of cut first. This is all new to me and I’m just experimenting. i’ve never tried short hair in my existence. So I’ve decided to test it first and if it looks good then i’ll go for something edgier like this.

I do have a lot of options but it’s probably wise to go for something safe and simple first before i do something drastic. Anyway, I know I won’t stand out as there are lots of girls in MC sporting a boy cut. We probably have the most population when it comes to short brown/blond-ish hair. Lool.

If you’ve seen the YG Family Diary I want that as a planner but I sooo want this one too. The sad thing is I can’t get any of the two, at least in time for 2011. From what I know YG diary is only available online and that sucks. Cuz if it wasn’t then by all means I can probably get myself one. I’m just gonna look for a good planner somewhere and hopefully this move will get me inspired to organize my life once and for all.

So I’ve been meaning to post a fan fiction I’ve written over a year ago. It was my first and it turned out pretty weird. Haha. I guess that’s what happens when you write something without deciding on which direction it should go. It is an odd one and so it is very me. I had fun writing it. But I had the most fun writing my second fic which I don’t have a copy because I gave it away. The story wasn’t for me but for a friend. I had fun writing that one because I played with the characters which is cruel I know.

But before I do that I must get this over with first.

Lee Seunggi’s hilarious fall at the Golden Disc Awards. Oh yeah, the GDA was held this week and I wasn’t able to watch it. I was avoiding the net and when I finally logged on I just read the news and everything was about GDA. Lee Seunggi is such a sweet and decent guy buy that fall was just hilarious. And the chair broke lool. Anyway the rest of the video was boring. Let’s just talk about the performances.

Beast performed  Shock and Soom (Breath) and the also won the rookie award for this year. Sure they won and they’ve been getting better and better since they debuted but this performance was a bit lacking. I think it’s the presence. I didn’t feel anything when they were performing. I like to look out for their stages but this one is just flat for me. The background was great with the laser and all. It’s just really them that’s lacking. They should perform with the same energy when they perform Beautiful on stage. it would have been a great opportunity to prove they deserved the award.

This was the best stage of the night for me. Shinee really came back with something powerful this year. I really noticed them this time. I used to know them as the one who sang an OST for Boys Over Flowers. Well this time I know the as Shinee. A complete reversal of positions for Jonghyun and Minho. i was wondering what Jjong was doing just sitting on that chair and then I remembered he has an injury. I guess he hasn’t fully recovered yet since he couldn’t dance. When they came back it was Minho who had an injury. Anyways Jjong’s powerful voice still made me notice him. And at the end it was kinda funny cuz they were obviously enjoying the fog machine. Hahaha.

Also lacking in the presence department, Miss A’s opening was strong and then kinda went downhill a bit. And were was Suzy? Filming maybe? Anyway they should have worked it more. i like the costumes though.

Best ballad group of all. Chukae 2AM for winning! At last they are being recognized. When Can’t Send You Away was released it was their ticket to stardom. From then they totally changed image and became very well-known. Aw Jinwoon’s hair is black again. Every time I see him I feel so happy for him. I saw how he got to where he is now and he almost didn’t make it in the beginning because people overlooked his singing ability just because he couldn’t dance. i love both songs. 2AM have such heavenly voices.

CN Blue! (sings) waetoriya, waetoriya da da di di da da doo ♫ I like this song very much. And the title works too haha. Waetoriya (I’m a Loner). The jazz version is cool. I think that they have exceeded FT Island although I also like FTI. But not as much as CN Blue. And I didn’t know Yonghwa’s voice was that beautiful ^-^ They should do more jazz stuff. It’ll make stand out more and have a distinct sound. ♫Love love love. Everybody clap clap clap ♫

Sorry Sorry was a bit off don’t you think? Well that’s what I think. Maybe because the song arrangement was hard to sing along to. And it really was. I couldn’t understand if it was slow or fast. I would be confused too. The camera shouldn’t have shot from aerial view too. The alignment was a bit off as well. I know I keep pointing the negatives but I’m just not used to watching them like this. Something was really off. They even look a disoriented. Maybe lack of practice? I mean they do have their own variety show to film and they haven’t been on stage for months. Where is the synchronized Suju I know? I didn’t see that in the video that’s all. As for Bonaman, I really like the choreography. That’s all I can say. Haha. The singing was… off too. Or was it the sound quality? Maybe. Siwon has holding his mic a lot maybe there was a problem with it. Anyway, Kyuhyun should keep those sunglasses. I almost didn’t recognize Eunhyuk with his mushroom hair ^0^

One last thing. The camera sucks. The shots were either too far or too near that I couldn’t see everyone who was performing on stage. Eff >.< That’s the problem I always have with these music shows. Capture good angles please!
Sure enough I always save the BEST for last. When I say best I usually mean The Gazette hehe. Weeks ago they came out with a new PV which I was able to watch just today. Shame, I know. Anyway I believe this is a first for them to feature an Asian girl in their PVs. Aside from the two young girls they used before though. The feel is a lot different now. Something about Ruki changed. Maybe because it’s produced by Sony that it seems different. It looks… simpler? I mean the meaning is easier to get. Unlike with the others it takes some time and I have to watch it again and again to understand what the connection with the song is.

The piano opening makes me feel nostalgic. Gazette’s songs always make me feel nostalgic. I feel like I know and understand what they mean with every song they make. Ruki’s voice is just… I want to cry TT TT
Kai’s hair is long again. Sweet. Oh and of course the guitar solo is… there are no words to describe ♥♥♥
